life thus far

Met up with my fellow juniors at Sushi Tei last friday. Not bad, but I think Kuishin Bo is better because I can fill my stomach to the maximum capacity. You know I'm a sucker for salmon, at Sushi Tei, I can only limit myself to 2 plates. Awww!

After dinner, we shopped around in town and decided to catch a late night movie "The Bourne Ultimatum". We drove all the way back to Tampines Mall. This is to save Darrel the trouble of heading to the east, north and northeast to send us home after the show.

Anyway, I must say it is a really good show. Although I did not catch Bourne Identity or Supremacy, this show still managed to let me cringed my feet throughout the entire 2 hrs. Like this -->

haha! Its damn exciting. We must not forget Julia Stiles scene in Morocco. That's the part where I kept mumbling "F***, you musn't die". Haha! Don't you think she resemble Kelly Clarkson?

We had BBQ on saturday at East Coast Park along with Benny, Agnes, Jenelle and Felicia. It was quite a last minute decision. All the pits were fully taken and we decided to use the "Crash Pit" technique. It started pouring at 8p.m when our dear benny and felicia just managed to get the fire burning in our portable aluminium container. Christ and we ran with food and barang barang in our hand to the nearest shelter. Luckily we've got some chips with us to fill our empty stomach. As the rain started to simmer down, we thought everything was over. We shifted the pit to the nearby bench and then started to place all the food on the gauze. Who knows, the rain started to get heavier and heavier, leaving us with no choice but to carry the pit into the shelter. *Please repeat the above scene twice* Along with some strangers, china people, bangladesh workers, we continued BBQ-ing our food in the shelter. We still have some crazy idea of selling our cooked food to them. It just smells so good, that I believe non of them can resist the temptation. Imagine with the cold weather, and a warm plate of wings served, heavenly combination. Ok, stop it. Its was a darn memorable evening - comical and nutty. Photos to be posted soon. Hang on!

Just came back from a hair cut at Kimage (after losing touch with Salon for almost 2 years, they made me a very happy customer) and went to apply for my JLPT 4 international exam that falls on 2nd December. Can you imagine they charged me $1 for the instructions booklet and application form. (-_-"). I think my 3-ply toilet paper is even thicker and softer than their paper used.

Fanny listed a very interesting website - http://www.allooksame.com/
Basically, you have to guess the face of the person featured if they are Chinese, Japanese or Korean. They have food, architecture and many other examination to take. Its not that easy afterall. I did fairly ok for the faces segment.
